2020 was going to be a great year for Overtime Rock. We had a few gigs set up at the beginning of the year, and of course the rest is history.

Post Lock-down

As we all begin planning coming out of lock-down, and starting to get back to the “New Normal” Overtime Rock is offering free gigs for a limited period to any pub or club that is interested in relaunching themselves later this year. It is our way of helping to restart the social music scene. We would be particularly interested in supporting any fundraising events.

If you are a pub or club that normally have live music over the course of the year, and need some help, why not contact us using the form below, this is not a contract, it is an expression of interest at this time. We cannot be sure right now when things will begin to be relaxed, but it would be good to stay in touch and finalise details when the circumstances change.

What do we play?

We play a wide range of rock music from the 60’s to the present day. If you take a look around this website you will find Video clips and rehearsal recordings from our repertoire. We have around 3hrs of songs in our portfolio. 

General Terms and Conditions

• We are seeking expressions of interest to this offer at this time. 
• This offer is limited to one free gig per venue.
• Venues need to be within a 40 mile radius of Prestwood in Buckinghamshire.
• The offer is subject to acceptance by Overtime Rock Band.
• The offer is on a first come first served basis and will run for a limited period of time.
• The band will provide lights, PA, instruments, musicians, talent. The venue needs to provide us with at least two 13Amp outlets. No other equipment is required. 
• We will consider indoor and outdoor gigs through the summer and early autumn months. If the gig is outside, we will expect to be under a covered area provided by the venue and not exposed to the rain in case of inclement weather. 
• We are a rock band, and quite loud, only book us if you have had rock bands playing at your venue. 
• We will require enough floor space for a large drum kit three guitars and bass.
• The venue is responsible for seeking any licenses or special permission to hold an event.
• The band will play two 45 minute sets with a 30 minute break between them with the possibility of playing for up to 2hrs subject to agreement.
• The band does not require any form or payment, but a couple of free drinks from the bar will always be welcome. 
• Where we cannot mutually set a date due to the social distancing limitations, we will treat all enquiries on a first come, first served basis. Preference will be given to those who contacted us first.
